Why geography is the best Krillion category
Geography prompts are where Krillion shines. A question like "Name a landlocked country" has a fixed, checkable list of answers, and almost everyone reaches for the same few: Switzerland, Austria, Bolivia. Somewhere further down the list sit Eswatini, Lesotho and San Marino, and those are the answers that score.
This mode deals you dives made only of geography prompts from past daily puzzles: countries by letter or border, capital cities, flags by colour or symbol, seas, straits, mountain ranges, and cities by size. Every dive is seven prompts with 25 seconds each, and you can play as many as you like.
Tips for geography prompts
- Know your microstates and island nations. Andorra, Liechtenstein, Nauru, Tuvalu and Palau fit a surprising number of prompts and are rarely anyone's first pick.
- For letter prompts, skip the obvious start of the alphabet in your head. "Starts with M" makes most players say Mexico; Mauritania or Montenegro score far better.
- Capitals that aren't the biggest city (Canberra, Ottawa, Abuja, Naypyidaw) are worth learning: they come up in capital prompts and trick-question prompts alike.
- Read the fine print in brackets. Prompts often say whether territories or constituent countries count, and an answer that breaks the rule won't be accepted.

- How many geography prompts are there?
- Over a hundred, and the pool grows as new daily dives come out. The counter above the start button shows the current number.
