What is Krillion Puffer Party?
Puffer Party is the first multiplayer mode of Krillion. Players sit around the same room and take turns with a pufferfish that keeps inflating. When it is your turn you answer the prompt, and the puffer moves on to the next player. Take too long and it pops on you. The last player still standing wins the room.
It appeared on krillion.io in October 2026, labelled as a beta for a limited time, and was taken offline for a while soon after launch while the team worked on lag and other fixes. If you can't find it, check the menu on the official Puffer Party page. This site is an independent fan site and is not affiliated with krillion.io; Puffer Party itself can only be played there.
Puffer Party rules
- Answer before the puffer explodes. Any answer that fits the prompt keeps you alive and passes the puffer along.
- No repeats. An answer someone already gave for the current prompt can't be used again, so the easy answers run out fast as the puffer goes round.
- Hearts. When the puffer pops on you, you lose a heart. Rarer answers fill a meter toward an extra heart, which is how players come back from a lost life halfway through a game.
- Last one standing. Players drop out as their hearts run out, and the final survivor wins.
How to join a room
Enter a name, pick your character, then choose how to get in:
- Quick Play drops you into the next open game.
- Host a room creates your own game. A public room is listed for anyone to join; share its four-letter code to bring friends in.
- Join by code takes you straight into a friend's room.
The public list shows each room's host, how many seats are taken and whether it is still in the lobby or already playing. Rooms range from two players up to sixteen.
Puffer Party characters
Everyone starts as The Krill. The other characters unlock with your daily Krillion streak, so playing the daily dive pays off here too:
- The Krillavailable from the start
- Schooler5-day streak
- Rare Squid14-day streak
- Deep Cut Angler30-day streak
- Evil Krill45-day streak
Tips to survive the puffer
- Think while others answer. The prompt stays the same while the puffer goes round, so line up two or three answers instead of starting from zero when it reaches you.
- Keep a deep pocket of answers. The obvious ones go first, so by your second or third turn on a prompt you need something further down the list.
- Go rare when you have time. Rare answers build toward an extra heart, but a safe answer is better than a clever one that comes too late.
- Type short. Bald eagle and eagle may both be fine, but the shorter one is in before the pop.
- Remember what has been said. Other players' answers don't stay on screen for long, and repeating one wastes precious seconds.
Practice for Puffer Party
Puffer Party rewards two skills: answering fast, and having more than one answer ready. Our unlimited mode trains both. It uses past Krillion prompts with a clock on every one, rare answers score the most, and the run continues until your three lives are gone.
Endless prompts · 25 seconds each · 3 lives · rarer answers score more
Name anything that fits, then keep guessing to beat your best answer. An obvious answer or no answer costs a life.
